2019 Wedding trends

Hello Hello Happy New Year!! I hope everyone is having fun with their new year resolutions 😉 I didn’t set any this year, so instead I just wrote a list of the all crap things I wanted to get rid of and burnt it and then another list of all the things I want to welcome in 2019. I realised I hadn’t written a blog since June! So I thought I would start the year off writing about some of the weddings trends you are expected to see in 2019, so without further delay, here we are… DRESSES When the... View Article

de Mamiel Restorative Cleansing Balm review

Hi lovelies I hope you’ve all been enjoying the lovely sunshine. May was such a busy month for me, lots of weddings and special occasion make up which has been great fun. I suddenly realised this morning that I hadn’t posted in a while so thought I would whip up a review about an amazing cleansing balm that I have been using. The more I use cleansing balms the more I love them, they seem to work wonders on my skin, I actually use a lot of balms and oils instead of creams these days. Anyhoo I’ll get on with... Why I prefer natural and organic products

Hi beauties I said that I would do a blog post about why I want to change over to the green side of beauty so here we are…. I’ve been interested in natural and organic products for a few years now but have only really been using it on myself rather than adding them to my make up kit. It’s only been since last year that I feel that I want to change my kit over, the green world is booming now and there is so much brilliant skin loving make up and skincare to get your hands on. I... Couleur Caramel blushes

I was scrolling through my blog posts the other day and suddenly realised that I hadn’t written a blog post about make up! So I thought I would whip up a quick one about the new blushers that I bought a couple of months ago from the natural and organic brand Couleur Caramel. As you may or may not know, I am slowly adding natural and organic brands to my kit- I believe that it’s so much better for our health, and actually a lot of big companies still test on animals which I believe is wrong. Why can’t they... View Article

How I helped my eczema

Trying to cure eczema is incredibly hard because there are so many different factors that can cause it. It could be your diet, beauty products, household products, stress, and much more so trying to pin point it can take a long and painful process. When I went back to college in my early 20’s I became so stressed trying to do my work, working 4 days a week, stress in my personal life but also still loving my party life style that I had an outbreak on my face. I remember waking up one morning and catching my reflection in... View Article

Happy New Year you lovely lot!! I hope you all had a great christmas and I can imagine a lot of you are diving in to your new year resolutions. I’m certainly trying to but I do feel knackered from Christmas, working late nights, or either one of the kids being ill, that I quite frankly just want to veg out on the sofa and watch Ragnar Lodbrok shake his stuff in Vikings ( totally worth a watch if you have Amazon Prime). I am listening to my body and taking the time to rest but also pushing myself in... View Article

Kimberly Sayer Ultra Light Facial Moisturiser

I came across Kimberly Sayer about 4 years ago when I was checking out some lovely natural products on the love lula site. I was after a moisturiser that was natural but also had a non toxic sun factor in it too because I spent quite a lot of time taking my son for walks or to the park and didn’t want to catch too much sun on my face. I saw the kimberly sayer antioxidant moisturising cream and thought I’d give that a try, well, I actually put it in on my christmas list because it was that... View Article

I only recently discovered Evolve around three weeks ago when I was ordering some natural goodies off glow organics (great place to order skin care and make up, Mel is very helpful). First of all the packaging caught my eye, very clean, pure and simple which seems to be my taste now days so the temptation to check them out further was definitely there. I am so glad I did! They are a British company and their ingredients they use sounded amazing, natural butters and oils, superfoods sourced from around the world which are all hand crafted into small batches... Get a better night’s sleep.

We all know that sleep is extremely important to heal our bodies and balance our minds and I don’t know about you, but when I don’t sleep I turn into a crazy forgetful person. It’s also incredibly important to help slow down the ageing process- we should all be getting  7-8 hours per night. Benson Beds did a study on a group of women and compared the difference in their skin after having 8 hours a night for 5 days, and then 6 hours a night for 5 days. After having 6 hours a night for the week their skin... View Article
